Kelly worked in the cosmetologist industry for 6 years prior to joining the team at W.T. Glasgow, Inc. Her primary responsibilities at WTG include web content management and administration, mobile app content and administration, exhibitor and attendee registration, housing, booth space and floor plan configurations. Kelly received an associates in business management from Moraine Valley Community College, and her Certified Exhibition Management (CEM) designation in 2014.
Chris worked in the real estate industry for many years. Managing a company with over 200 agents, he promoted and designed marketing material, and trained agents in utilizing the internet and social media for prospecting, thus increasing the total sales volume by 30%. Chris' responsibilities include web content management and administration, social media content management, sponsorship sales and managing product showcase. Chris received his Certified Exhibition Management (CEM) designation in 2014.
Linda Glasgow has worked as the accountant for W.T. Glasgow, Inc. for more than 10 years. Previous work experience for Linda includes 8 years as an insurance claims coordinator for Navistar (formerly International Harvester Co.); 5 years as an assistant financial analyst for BP Petroleum (formerly Amoco Oil), and 2 years as a property accounting manager for The Equity Group (formerly Sam Zell). Her duties include corporate financial accounting, price/cost accounting, capital improvement decision-making and budgeting. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science degree from DePaul University and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1989.
With more than 30 years experience, Bill's career encompassed catering, convention services, unions, hotel management and show management. Prior to starting the family with his father, Bill Glasgow Sr., he held convention service manager positions at the McCormick Center and Downtown Marriott hotels in Chicago. Bill also worked for Hall-Erickson where he served as the managing director for the American Society of Safety Engineers and Floor Manager for the World Congress Exposition, Incentive Travel & Meeting Executives Show, National Premium Incentive Travel Show and the former Big I and Big E Shows. Currently, Bill has direct responsibility for the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo budget preparation and forecasting, all areas of exhibit management to include sales, booth assignments and exhibitor communications. Bill is also responsible for all show operations, including working with general contractors, the Sands Expo facilities management, building and show security.
Sandra has been employed by WTG for over 15 years. She has been the AAPEX Show Coordinator since 2009 and the HDAW Show Coordinator since 2006. Prior to working for W.T. Glasgow, Inc., Sandra was employed by Conference Management Systems as a registration specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Illinois University and received her Certified Exhibition Management (CEM) in 2014.
Brian Glasgow has over 30 years working in the trade show and convention service fields. Prior to joining the family business in 1997, he held the position of Director of Conventions & Expositions for the American Hardware Manufacturers Association (AHMA) where he directed the National Hardware Show and the National Building Products Exposition for 14 years. Brian also held the positions of Director of Conventions and National Sales Manager for the Downtown Chicago Marriott Hotel. Currently Brian works closely with Bill Jr. on budgeting, sales efforts, hotel negotiations and specific areas of show operations such as meeting rooms, transportation and onsite floor management. Brian attended Northern Illinois University, where he studied business administration.
Judy has been with W.T. Glasgow since the company opened in 1983, and worked as an account executive until 1997, when she was promoted to Vice President. She has worked in the trade show business for more than 30 years. Prior to joining W.T. Glasgow, Inc., she was the Assistant Show Manager for the Consumer Electronics Show, and worked as Public Relations Coordinator at McCormick Place in Chicago. Her responsibilities include managing registration, administering international buyer initiatives and concierge programs; managing marketing, web and social media content and development. She also plans the annual AAPEX Exhibitor Summit. Judy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mundelein College, in Chicago, and has most recently completed her Certified Exhibition Management (CEM) designation.
Jim has been employed by WTG for over 15 years. Prior to joining the company he was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade for nineteen years as an independent trader of financial instruments. Jim's responsibilities include both sales and assignment, show operations and floor management. Jim attended Purdue University where he studied Business Administration.
